Well Saturday is our first rehearsal and I’m really ready to get this season started!
Rehearsal begins at noon. Please try not to be late. We will be in Dobson Hall. Use the glass doors towards the back of the parking lot and head up the stairs. Brett will have a sign in sheet so please sign in first thing!
This first weekend we will finish at 4:00. Please ask your folks to pick you up open time. We ask all young people under the age of 18 to not leave with out saying good by to a staff member so we know your ride is there. We will not leave anyone waiting alone at the church.
I ask that you get in the habit of checking your emails regularly. I use email to communicate with everyone concerning work. I ask that when ever you get an email from me you reply so that I know you received it. A simple “Got it!” Or a 👍 or Thanks or what ever. Also, please actually read the note as there is useful and necessary info there. I also will post every note on our Dickens Cast Central blog site. https://dickenscastcentral.blogspot.com/
I encourage you to follow that and explore all the years of good info there!
These first few notes will show all the email addresses. I suggest you save at least on of these notes in the event you need to send a note to the whole group. You can hit "reply all” to do this. Only use “reply all” if you really need to reach the entire group, just hit “reply" to acknowledge you’ve received the note.
Remember that Dickens is a safe place. I will abide no negative behaviors. We are all in this together and our goal is always to support and uplift the show, ourselves and each other!
I will be absent this first rehearsal. Why you might ask? It’s due to Tracey and me being in HAWAII!
Our Artistic Director Maria DeMitchell everydaymassage@yahoo.com will lead the rehearsals. What she says goes. We also have lots to get done so please practice good manners. If one of us is talking, listen. Stay focussed on the work. We will have lots of fun but we also need structure.
