Director Note 11/22/2024

 Hi Kids!

Here’s a brief note concerning our final rehearsal weekend! 

Saturday we are at the Church as usual from 12:00noon until 5:00pm

We will work on character and improvisation  and then block out the opening and the Revels. Then lunch, which you may bring and eat at the church, Then we will concentrate on music. We will be forming caroling groups and family groups. We may be breaking into smaller groups to rehearse and place folks where they belong. We will fit in a Dance rehearsal as well as rehearsing those folks going to Bridge Street on Wednesday. Hopefully you have all let Victoria know who is coming to that. I will need a list of all those coming to give the tv station.

Sunday will be at the green room from 12:00 noon until 4:00pm. This is when we really go over the working nuts and bolts of our show. Tracey Greene will lay out the ground rules for Green Room protocols.

I’m watching the weather and it looks like we can fit in our walking tour before lunch. We will all walk through the village to point out where specific things will happen. Chestnuts, Father Christmas, Opening, Revels, Alternate Revels in weather and the Chamber office. Please check the weather and wear appropriate clothes to be outside.

That’s about it for now. We are getting so close and I just want the show to OPEN! We are going to have so much FUN!
