Director Note 11/19/2024

 Hi Kids!

Great work Sunday! I’m really proud of how fearless you all are. Well done! Our Assc Music Director and Washington Irving portrayer Patrick Glaub will be here! Woo Hoo!

Saturday will be a busy day. Rehearsal will end at 5:00pm. We will be in Dobson Hall at the church.  

We will be focusing on characters and their family groups, forming caroling groups, blocking show elements: Opening and Revels, and of course music! There will be people making pies in the kitchen. Please be respectful of their space. There will be pies cooling on the back tables. Do Not Touch Them!

Sunday we will be in the Green Room and end at 4:00pm. Village Garage Bays, behind the Village Hall, 26 Fennell St. Skaneateles, NY 13152. Please be careful dropping off and picking up as there are blind spots and folks walking around. If you have a chair to bring please do! We will be walking around the village so please be prepared for wet weather! Raincoats, umbrellas and dry shoes!

I also videoed the Finishing School Dance rehearsal. Hopefully you can get an idea of how it works. Thank you Zelda for thinking of Kennedy for this! Also a link.

Victoria is collecting names of those available to join us on Bridge Street. Please let her know if you can do it! I had given her the wrong time. We need to arrive at the studio at 9:30am on Wednesday 11/27. It will be live and the show airs 10:00am - 11:00am. As her note says, there is not a dressing room so take your costume home on Sunday and arrive ready to go!

I just want to say again that you are all doing such a great job! This last rehearsal weekend can get a little hectic so we need to stay focused and be patient with each other. Remember to stay positive with all your choices. We always want to elevate our guests, each other and ourselves!
