Director Note 11/11/2023

 Hi kids!,

Rehearsal starts at 12:30pm and ends at 5:00pm. Please, again dress warmly, it’s going to be a chillier  day. 

I just can’t tell you how proud I am of the work you are all doing! I was so pleased with your improving and fearlessness in joining right in! Well done!

Tomorrow we won’t have Maria, but with John’s competent instruction well get on just fine. We will start with …a….NAME CIRCLE! Then we’ll do music. Tracey will need Mike, Joe, Cindy and maybe a few others for costuming after lunch. The rest of us will continue with improv games and then focus down on character building, ending with some family group time. It’s going to be so much fun!

We need everyone named by the end of Sunday. If you haven’t decided we can all help you! 

We (Brett) will have a sign up sheet for available carolers for the upcoming promotions. 

Tuesday, Nov 21 is the Kick off party at the Sinclair in Skaneateles, 4357 Jordan Road, Skaneateles, NY 13152. It starts at 5:00 and ends around 7:00pm. We would love a few carolers to sing for the crowd. This party is to thank all of our wonderful sponsors. There will be some refreshments and the Sinclair is beautiful!

Wednesday, Nov 22 is Bridge Street,   News Channel 9 WSYR-TV, 5904 Bridge Street, East Syracuse, NY 13057 We need carolers there at 8:30am. You will be recorded singing at 9:00am and should be finished by 9:30. This will be aired during our segment that day. The program begins at 10:00 and I’m not sure when our segment plays.

If you are available and want to participate sign the sheet. Victoria will lead the singing at both events. 

Please bring your signed forms if you have any. Anyone 17 or under needs to have their parents sign permission slips for riding with different folks etc. Those all go to Brett. Remember to sign in when you get there! Please don’t just leave rehearsal or the show with out letting a staff person know your ride is there! Your safety and well being is our top priority!

Remember, we are concerned about colds, flu and covid! If you don’t feel well please stay home! We are  mask friendly so anyone with health concerns is free to mask up! Also, we encourage you all to get your covid and flu shots! For the health of the company!
