Best rehearsal yet! The music sounded so strong today! Keep it up!
Tomorrow the rehearsal is at the GREEN ROOM (Village Garage Bays, behind the Village Hall, 26 Fennell St. Skaneateles, NY 13152) Please park around back or on the side as close to the back as is possible. We will end rehearsal at 3:30! Make sure your rides are aware of this!
We will be spending a good amount of time outside so please dress warmly! Bring gloves mittens and hats and ear muffs and scarves! The wind chill down by the lake can be very bitter and cold indeed.
As we talked about today, everyone please stay focused and listen when one of us is talking. The acoustics are somewhat bouncy and it’s hard to hear as it is. This is our last rehearsal day and there is a lot of work that needs to get done!
We will block the Worlds Smallest Christmas Parade line up, the normal opening at the Hannum House, and the Mid Day Revels at the gazebo.
If you have a chair to bring in that would be helpful. Also bring your water bottle or a cup for water. There will be a 5 Gallon jug for you to use.
The Auburn Christmas Parade is Next Saturday. When the festival ends at 4:00pm anyone who can make it needs to grab some food and head to Auburn. We are spot #23. Please use the bathroom as there is really no convenient bathrooms once we are lined up. Here are the directions:
WHERE: The parade will assemble on E. Genesee Street starting at the N. Fulton Street intersection on the north side of the street, and continue east along E. Genesee Street. The side streets will not be utilized, and many will be closed to traffic after 5:30PM. Seward Avenue will remain open, so please use this cross street for side access to Genesee Street.
WHEN: Line-up is between 5:15 – 5:45PM, and the parade starts @ 6PM sharp.
We have found parking in the lot behind Wegmans is an easy place to leave from at the end of the parade. If you are picking up your child please do so there. One of our staff needs to see you with your child when leaving so please do your best to be prompt. It’s a long day for all of us! My phone number is 607-423-1477 if you need to reach me.
