Director Note 12/13

Hi Kids!

That was a fine weekend! I apologize for not moving the Revels to the Hannum House to get us out of the wind. Thanks for making it the fastest Revels EVER! I know there was some confusion about dropping a song but everyone did a great job going with the flow! 

This Sunday is our fabulous Dickens Cast Pot Luck Party! If you have not signed the sheet for what you will bring that’s ok, you can email Brett or sign it on Saturday. I will be bringing HAM(s)! Please deliver whatever you are bringing to the Methodist Church BEFORE you come to the green room! Viv Lessaongang will be there starting at 9:00am to take care of all the food and will plug in crock pots, put things in the oven, put things in the refrigerator, or whatever needs to happen to make sure we have the best dinner ever! the Skaneateles United Methodist Church is located at 26 Jordan St. Skaneateles, NY 13152.

Tracey and I want to suggest that you bring your own place setting and take it home to wash afterwards. It’s less wasteful and saves a little work at cleanup! The party will be from 4:30 until 6:00pm. It is buffet style and I want to remind you to be respectful and make sure everyone gets some food. Start with moderate portions please!

If you are NOT able to be there Christmas Eve you need to check in your costume with Tracey on Sunday BEFORE you head to the party.

Please drive slowly when coming to the green room! There are always children present.

The Sherwood Inn has graciously invited us to a Christmas Eve reception as a thank you for all your hard work! After the Revel on Christmas Eve you may head to the green room to change and check in your costume with Tracey. Then head over to the Sherwood for a final goodbye. Your parents/family may join us! We will be done over there and out by 4:30, it’s Christmas Eve for them too!

I can’t believe it’s the last weekend. Every year happens quicker for me than the last. I just want to say thank you to all of you for your great work! I am so proud of you and this show. Well done.
