Hi Kids!
That was a great opening weekend! I want to thank all of you for all your hard work. What a bunch of troopers plowing right through the wet grey cold and bringing so much bright warm joy to the Village! Well done!
A huge thanks to all who came out to the Auburn parade. That was pretty darn fun!
Huge thanks to Kristin Pallazolli as well for stepping up and covering Tracey with the costuming! Tracey is feeling better and will be back this weekend.
Kristen B will be reworking the caroling groups to make them smaller. You will get a notice about that when it’s done.
Remember to keep your street groups small as well. If one of us says “Diversify!” that means to split up and spread out!
I was really happy with how well you all listened to the notes from Friday. The coverage was so much better by Sunday! Again, well done.
Please remember to stay away from the make up area unless you are specifically getting made up. I’m serious. Please bring in your own tissues as well. Eileen needs everything over there to get our Spirits and Mr Scrooge ready!
We have been invited to go play at the Auburn Rescue Mission Christmas party on Wednesday December 14 around 5:00pm. Tracey and I are not available for this. I fully support the Rescue Missions and would encourage you to participate! What this means though, is you check your costume out Sunday and take it with you for Wednesday. I’m sure it will be fun and your presence will be appreciated. You will just be your characters and maybe lead everyone in some carols, or just play! We have been asked to help through St James Episcopal Church as part of their outreach so I don’t have many details. We will have a sign up sheet in the green room, and I will connect all who are interested with Cindi Sharp Demario, a Director at the Auburn Mission, so you can make a plan!
Friday is Skaneateles Sings! If you are available the call is 5:30 and we head over to the library around 6:00pm. There is a dedication of the Creche, and then a caroling procession to the gazebo to light the tree! Our own Father Christmas will read "A Visit From Saint Nicholas” also known as "The Night Before Christmas" and our Finishing School girls will hold a dance lesson over at the Methodist Church! The girl scouts hand out Chocolate and Goodies! It’s really SWEET!
Don’t forget that Byron’s Famous Family Chili dinner is this Saturday after work. Byron brought in written directions. Bring something to pass if you wish! Like gluten free cookies! :)
That’s all I have for now! Keep making positive choices and elevate yourselves, your cast mates and our guests! Woo Hoo!
xoxo
