Director Note 12/16

Hi kids!
What a weekend! We received a nice note from the Sherwood complimenting everyone on their good work! Thank you! Remember to stay diversified. It makes a big difference!

A huge thank you to Aundre, Kat and Jason for helping out the First Presbyterian church Sunday morning!
Don’t forget the Cast Party Pot Luck this Sunday! I’m bringing HAM! Tracey and I also bring our own plates and silverware. It cuts down on waste and no one else has to clean up after us! I’m just saying...

We will be taking a cast photo both Saturday and Sunday after the Revels while we are still on the gazebo. Please stay in your places after singing We Wish You A Merry Christmas. I want this to happen quickly so we can continue our day in a timely fashion!

Remember, no one is to climb on to the porch for the opening ceremony until Brett tells you to. Brett gives the cue for the opening to begin.

Do NOT bring peanut products into the green room or to the cast party!

Cast members are not permitted to accept money! If someone tries to give you money you must graciously refuse and suggest they put it in the red Salvation Army kettles! The only exception is the apple girls. They may accept .02 cents (tuppence) for an apple if the patron has exact change! That is two pennies. I’m not kidding!

If you will be joining us Christmas Eve let Tracey Greene know when you come in Sunday afternoon, before you head to the cast party. If you are NOT joining us Christmas Eve you must check in your costume so Tracey Greene can get it put away properly. Tracey and I are leaving on our Christmas trip right from the green room on Christmas Eve so it’s important everyone cooperates and remains patient!

Watch the weather report for this weekend! We mustn’t get lulled into thinking it will be warm EVERY DAY! We have been really lucky and the crowds have certainly enjoyed the comfortable climate!

I want to invite everyone to come support their cast mates in A Christmas Story - The Radio Play at the Center for the Arts of Homer Saturday night! Tickets are available here: https://center4art.showare.com/eventperformances.asp?evt=32

Let’s keep up this great energy for our final weekend! It goes by so quickly!

xoxo
