 Hi Kids!

I hope you all had a well deserved rest for Christmas! 

I just wanted to say thanks again to everyone. I hope you understand just how much you all influenced the folks that came out this year. I received so many words of thanks from so many guests for all the joy we spread! It is a really great feeling to know what we do is important and appreciated. 

We will be striking the green room tomorrow, Thur 12/28. If you remembered something you left there let me know. Everything will be safely packed away in the storage unit till next year if I don’t hear from you.

Stay safe, take care of yourselves and take care of each other till we meet up next season to do it all again!

 Hi Kids!

We are at the finish line! It has been an extraordinary season and I’m grateful to all of you for making this possible!

Don’t forget the Pot Luck Cast Party on Saturday. Thanks Brett for keeping the list of goodies! You can drop off food between 10 and 11:00am Sat. at the Methodist Church. Please leave an ingredient list and clear directions for heating your dish, if called for. Bring your own place settings and cups! Please remember that we are ending at 6:00pm. The church has another group coming in so we must be timely. Family is welcome to join us!

We will be missing a few folks this weekend so please be prepared to be flexible! I love how we are able to work around these things and support one another and the show! On Saturday we will have both Scrooge’s redemption and the Raffle Drawing in the revels. Let’s all just keep on our toes! Thanks!

We will have some visiting alumni performing with us this weekend. Please make them feel comfortable!

Looks like it may be a little damp. Dress accordingly and remember our rain protocols!

If you borrowed anything from the green room, please bring it back!

 Hi kids!

Just touching bases with everyone.

Thanks for everyones work on Sunday! I love it when we all pitch in to make the challenges of a wet day with many players out seem so insignificant! Well done!

Fezziwigs Ball went great! Big thanks to John Decker, John and Patti Adams, Tracy Pileski, Grant Izzo Maria DeMitchell and of course Ed Becker and Kristin Izzo for all their help and time! Also, a HUGE thanks to my lovely wife Tracey Greene for making the best looking refreshment table ever! 

Saturday night is the Radio Play! I’m so excited! We will be aired on the Finger Lakes Radio Group, 1 pm on Christmas Day on WAUB 96.3 FM/1590 AM (Eastern FLX) and WGVA 106.3 FM/1240AM(Western FLX). 

It will also be streamed live tomorrow night. We’ll post the link as soon as we get it from APT! Tickets are $15.00 at the Chamber or online at:

The Packwood Prestidigitators will be in the Library on Saturdays 12/16 and 12/23. The finishing School girls dance will be in the Library on Sunday 12/17. All at 1:00pm.

The library bathrooms may be used, but only by one character at a time. Rule of three: the other characters please wait on the outside porch! Maybe sing something!

Cast Party Pot Luck! Sat 12/23 from 4:30pm - 6:00pm at the Methodist Church. Brett will have sign up sheets for what you want to bring. We encourage you to bring your own plate, cup and utensils so we don’t blow through a bunch of plastic! You will be able to drop your stuff at the church before 11:00am on Saturday morning! Woo Hoo!

Director Notes 12/07/2023

 Hi kids!

Here’s a few extra notes, because I love you so!

Saturday from 4:30pm - 6:00pm we will do a read through/rehearsal of the radio play. If you missed the audition last week but want to be in it let me know and we will find a place for you! If you are not involved in the radio play, please respect the rehearsal and leave the green room promptly and quietly.

This Saturday 12/10 is Newsies! The Pickpockets and the Finishing School girls will compete in the selling of the special fundraising newspapers! We will have aprons and papers in the chamber Sat morning.

This Sunday, 12/10. There will be a meeting at the Masonic Temple, 30 or 40 Masons! Father Christmas will perform as usual, but be aware there will be guys coming and going through the lines.

The Packwood Prestidigitators will be in the Library on Saturdays 12/16 and 12/23. The finishing School girls dance will be in the Library on Sundays 12/10 and 12/17. All at 1:00pm.

The library get’s so crowded they would prefer not to have characters visit. Your books aren’t ready yet!

Fezziwig's Christmas Ball! The Ball is this Sunday, December 10th, from 5-7 pm at The Sinclair of Skaneateles. The address for the event is 4357 Jordan Rd., Skaneateles, NY 13152.  $20 ticket from me or the Chamber of Commerce!

 Hi guys. 

Woo Hoo! We got through the weekend without really having to deal with rain!

A huge thank you to everyone who came in for Skaneateles Sings on Friday. We had a blast and all went well!

A really huge thanks to Byron and the whole Lee family for a wonderful Chili dinner on Saturday! It was perfection!

A super huge thank you to everyone for dealing so well with the change in venue for todays Revels. We will stage it a little differently, but that closed alley between Father Christmas and the M&T Bank will be the alternate Revels location.

A Super Duper huge thank you goes out to Brett, Joe and Kristin Palazzoli for their quick and professional handling of the medical emergency at the end of Revels! I was so proud of everyone's response and actions and I’m glad to report the fellow was in good shape when he left in the ambulance! Bravo and Well Done!

Fezziwigs Christmas Ball is right after work next Sunday Dec. 10  from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. It's really going to be fun! Anyone who wishes can get a ticket at the Chamber office for $20. I wish I could comp you all in but that just isn't possible. 

I’m happy to announce the return of our Dickens Family Cast Party Potluck dinner! We will head over to the Methodist Church after work on Saturday, Dec 23! Brett will have a sign up sheet for what delicious stuff you will all bring! It’s always a wonderful way to close our season and share our special foods. I will bring a HAM! More details to come!
