Director Notes Opening Day!

WOW! Great job everyone! I want to thank everyone who joined me for the Channel 3 sunrise service this morning. Great job and a very effective promo! I also want to thank Ray for bringing the tables and chairs! We will move some things around in the green room Sunday. Tomorrow night we need to make sure the large room is empty when we leave. Everything must be moved into the small room.

The Auburn Parade is Saturday night! Those of you who can make it should eat something and arrive in Auburn at 5:30. We are spot 21 on Genesse Street. Usually in front of the big church. Drivers should park in the municipal lot across the street from the backside of Wegmans. Eileen and Leo and Jason and a couple others should carol at the Wegmans instead of doing the parade. 

The parade will assemble on East Genesee Street starting at the N. Fulton Street intersection on the north side of the street, and continue along East Genesee Street going towards Hoopes Park.The parade kicks off at 6:00 so use the bathroom and get to our spot, #21, at 5:30. We park in the municipal lot across the street from the rear of Wegmans. Here is the contact info for the parade:

Please remember to be conscious of your status. Chimney sweeps would not mingle with young gentlemen and pickpockets would not mingle with finishing school girls.

Please do not just entertain each other! We are there to interact and engage with our guests!

NEVER violet the rule of 3 without express permission from a director. Even if it means not hanging out with your boyfriend! I'm serious. If you abandon your partners you will jeopardize your participation.

Good job staying in character everyone! I know that your families want to come talk and take pictures and you can do this in character! It's fun!

Please make sure you get all over town. This includes Tops, Ace Towne Square, Creekside Books, The Creamery and Mirbeau if you have time to take the hike!

Kristen says "Thank you for the extra bank caroling today! From now on you will be responsible for only one spot per day. You should carol at the locations of your choice all the live-long day! This can be only one or two carols. Look for the Dickens Sponsor signs."

During Revels please watch Kristen on the gazebo for the tempo. She promises to remember to direct us from now on! Hence the title! 

I want to let you all know all know how proud I am of the work I saw today! The energy was really great and things all started on time! The song introductions at the Revels were great! We were in the crosswalks! I saw lots of people on the street at the strike of 4! Lets keep this up!

It is apt to be colder and snowy for the rest of the weekend so bring spare socks and take care of yourselves!
