Director Notes 11/19

Hi Kids!

Reminder! Tomorrow's rehearsal starts at 12:30!

Wow! I am so proud of all of you! What a great rehearsal today! I am so happy to be back and to find such wonderful characters and relationships being developed. I'm very pleased. The music sounds wonderful as well and I can't wait to hear it filling the Village.

Remember to make positive choices that elevate each other and yourselves. Commit to your occupation and be proud of what you do and who you are! I want you to fully embrace this season as being a new and fresh and fun time you will be able to add to your memory books. Woo Hoo!

If you are playing a traditional character from Dickens' A Christmas Carol remember that there are certain lines and attributes people expect from you, like Tiny Tim's crutch and Mr Scrooge's snarl! I want you to develop your characters honestly but keep in mind you are recognizable!

Please remember the rule of three! On stage or off, three or more persons together keeps us safe and happy!

Actors don't give other actors notes. Talk to any of your Directors regarding any issues or suggestions you may have regarding your fellow troupe mates!

The green room is tiny! You must take good care of your (my) costumes. Hang your stuff up on your hangers and respect each others space. I mean it.
