Director Note 11/28 /2022

 Hi kids!

Whew! What a weekend!

Great job everyone! There were a couple of snafus but over all a wonderful time was had by all. Sunday was kind of nice and quiet and a pleasant finish to the three days.

Please remember Friday evening is Skaneateles Sings! The call is 5:30 and we begin at 6:00pm in front of the library. Father Christmas and Mother Goose will greet children up under the library porch. The rest of us will help pass out the caroling candles to our guests and mingle. We can sing a few carols as a group. The pastor Mike of the First Presbyterian Church will lead the blessing of the Creche, there will be a featured carol to be announced and then Father Christmas will lead everyone down to the Gazebo caroling and carrying candles. There will be some talking at the Gazebo, the Girl Scouts will sing  a couple of carols, we light the tree and sing Oh Christmas Tree, then we invite everyone to shop and go to the reception at the Methodist Church. We will help collect the candles back. Mother Goose will read a story,  Father Christmas will read The Night Before Christmas and The Packwoods will do a magic show. There are cookies and hot chocolate there. We are finished at 8:00pm. The green room will be open so you can change back out of costume. 

Saturday night we are invited to Byron’s house for his famous Byrons Chili Dinner! We will have directions and details Saturday in the green room! The Lees have a lovely house and it is always lovely and relaxing evening!

We have our regular Sat and Sun festival with usual opening at the Hannum House. On Sunday, 12/04,  

the Finishing School girls will perform in the LIBRARY at 1:00pm.

You are all doing a great job. Remember to keep your choices based on elevating each other and our guests. Defer to the Queen, take pride in your family groups and let the kindness shine!
