Director Notes 12/10/2021

 Hi kids!

Well we’ve passed the half  way point! Time flies when you’re having this much fun! As always, thank you all for your hard work and flexibility! I’m very happy with how things are going!

Maria and I had a great time at SKANEATELES MIDDLE SCHOOL working with the 7th graders for the last two days, What a great bunch of kids! We were so happy to see Charlotte, Addison, Blake, Eve, Tabitha, Abby and Gigi! They make us so proud!

This weekend is Old Newsboys - Hope for the Holidays! It’s a fund raiser that we participate in. Any of you who would like to participate will carry special “newspapers” to sell on the street. All the money collected gets turned in to the Chamber and goes to charity. The group who sells the most will get a prize!

Tomorrow maybe wet. It will be windy! This means we must speak really loudly to be heard over the wind. Project project project!

Don’t forget next Thursday is the Auburn Rescue Mission Christmas event! They assure me there is a bathroom and green room in the Rescue Mission office building. We will be there  from 5:00pm - 6:00pm.  Please arrive in costume. You may take your costume home on Sunday to facilitate this, just wear it back in the following Saturday!They have horse drawn wagons which we can ride around in while caroling! This is a great opportunity to give to the community and bring some Dickens Christmas Magic to some folks who can really use it. There is plenty of parking on the circle. Next weekend is the radio play! The cast is set. Thanks to all who expressed interest! Sat night 12/18 at the West End Theater in Auburn. Tickets are $10 at the Chamber of Commerce. This is a co-production with the Skaneateles Foundation! The address is 217 Genesee Street, Auburn, NY 13021 Spread the word!
