Director Note 12/10/2019

Hi kids!

What a beautiful weekend! Thank you all for rolling with the tide! We had a very successful promotion with the tv show people and having our presenting sponsor there was icing on the cake. He was very excited about the work we do and has already committed to sponsor next season! Thanks to all who helped with the pictures and video for Hillary the jam lady! She was thrilled and very grateful to you all. The money we raised selling papers was incredible. I want you all to know how proud I am of you!

This Saturday is the Lee family Chili dinner!  Byron’s making his own special chili and it is a lovely gift to us all! The directions are on Brett's table!

The family caroling groups are doing great! We need to remember the UPS store across the street from the green room on Saturdays. They have become a Charles Dickens sponsor! You are all doing a good job of getting around town. Keep it up!

The Methodist Church is having a craft fair this weekend so you can talk about that. Also there is a Community Band concert in the high school auditorium at 4:00pm. 

The Radio Play at the Auburn Public Theater is on Sat 12/21. It is It’s A Wonderful Life this year so I will be reaching out to you. If you are interested and available Friday 12/20 for rehearsal and Sat 12/21 performance let me know. There are not enough spots for everyone but I want to know who is interested. This show is not fully funded but I will share whatever money we make! Tickets are $10 and available at the Chamber of Commerce.

Thursday is the early morning promo with Brandon Roth from WCNY tv. I will bring a pitch pipe. Kimberly, John, Jillian, Patrick, Victoria, and John Decker if he is feeling better will be there. We need to be at the Gazebo at 5:45am. I will be at the green room around 5:15am for anyone who needs stuff. It’s going to be cold!!! 

Sign up sheet for the cast pot luck party on Sun 12/22. Drop off the food you are bringing to Viv Lessaongang (the Sheriffs wife!) at the Methodist church before coming to the green room. If you are bringing something that needs to be cooked please include directions. Ingredient lists also appreciated!
