Hi kids!
I’m putting the email list for the cast in the bcc space. If you need to write the whole group and no longer have a message with all those addresses just ask me. The last Director Note I inadvertently put the subject filter as DCH 2019. This is NOT correct and should be DCS 2019. I thank Jason for mistakenly hitting 'reply all' and giving me the chance to catch it! Also, please address specific questions to the appropriate director and copy me as well! The director list is below.
I am so happy with this years group, ie YOU GUYS!, I don’t have many notes. Remember to flesh out your character. They are real people with real lives and feelings. Approach all your interactions from a place of love! Elevate Yourself, Your Fellow Performers and The Show! Do NOT give fellow performers notes. Talk to a Director! I’m very proud of all of you and feel privileged to be working with you. For reelz!
Here is stuff for this last rehearsal weekend:
We will be walking the town and blocking the opening and the Revels on SATURDAY. Please wear warm clothes as we will be outside for at least an hour! Please remember to walk, not talk, to keep up with the group and not make me repeat myself.
We are thrilled to introduce my friend Patrick who will be playing Washington Irving! Patrick and I have been performing together for years now and I am so happy he is available to come spend the holidays with us! Please help welcome him into the Dickens Christmas Family.
Sunday rehearsals will end at 4:00pm. You’re welcome!
I’m very happy to have the music for I heard The Bells On Christmas Day. I want this to be our penultimate song, just before Silent Night. I don’t expect us to be ready for opening weekend, but we’ll get the sound files and music to you so we can add it in for second weekend! It is a beautiful song.
Just a reminder that you all need to have your refillable water bottles as we will be using a 5 gallon water bubbler in the green room, not individual plastic bottles.
Make sure you have given Brett all your signed agreements. I mean it. It’s important.
We would like some carolers for the Kick Off Party Tuesday, 11/26 at Anyelas Vineyard on 41A. Let Kristen know if you are interested and available!
Looking forward to this weekend!
Cheers!
Jim
