Great job everyone! We successfully opened our show and all is well! Big thanks again to everyone who marched in the Auburn parade Saturday. It was really fun!
Friday night is the lovely Skaneateles Sings event. Our call will be 5:30 and we start at 6:00pm. Father Christmas and Mother Goose will be at the library at the beginning and at the United Methodist Church after the tree lighting. The evening begins with a Dedication of the Creche in front of the library. We then help lead the people on a candlelight caroling stroll to the Gazebo. We have the Tree Lighting and then we greet folks around town. Father Christmas will be reading "T’was the Night Before Christmas” and the Finishing School for Young Ladies will hold a dance lesson at the Methodist Church. We are out by 8:00pm. Please come if you are available. It is really our way to say Thank You to the Community and it is a really sweet evening!

This Saturday is Byron’s Famous Chili Supper! The supper is from 4:30 - 7:30 in the Lee’s beautiful home. The address is 1741 Pork Street, Skaneateles, NY 13152 and the chili is delicious and the company joyful! Bring something yummy to share if you are inclined!
It is very important to throw focus to whomever is speaking to the crowd, whether it is the Revels, The Opening or morning notes. Please do not speak when someone is trying to be heard.
Do not begin gathering your group for Twelve Days before Mrs Fezziwig says “Have at!” There are plenty of folks and you have time. Also, do not grab people from another group! It is not really a contest and we all want to play!
Keep your Revels intro’s succinct! Brief and to the point!
Big outside voice! Then double the volume! Speak to those folks in back of the crowd!
During the opening only say "God Save The Queen!" in reply tp Mayor Fezziwig. If a patron yells it, let it go….
Please do not give notes to other actors. If you feel someone could use some help let Maria or me know.
I will put together a schedule for bell ringers and library counters. These are fun positions as long as you stay in character!
Pick pockets, no more than 3 people seated at a time please. The rest stand up! You are impacting the folks walking on the other side of the street as long as we can see you!
Our Dickens Cast Pot Luck Cast Party will be on SATURDAY Dec 23rd from 4:30 until 6:30 at the Methodist Church! The actual buffet line will begin at 5:00pm. Your food dish should be dropped off at the church starting at 10:00am. It is really important to Viv Lessaongang that folks don’t drop stuff off at 4:00pm! She works very hard to have the hot food hot and the cold food cold! I will have more details as we get closer. I always look forward to this and I will bring a HAM! Takes one to know one! Brett has a sign up sheet at the table some think up something yummy to share and bring your family and let’s PARTY!

I’m so proud of all of you and the work your are doing! So far, this has been the BEST DICKENS IN 2017! The ultimate goal is to spread the cheer and have fun doing it and I’m having a BALL!
