Director Notes 11/30

Hi Kids! 

A great big thanks to everyone who showed up for the Auburn Parade tonight! This includes our Wegmans carolers of course! We had chilly fun and passed out a ton of candy canes and smiles!

Great job everyone today! Let’s remember to make positive choices that elevate ourselves, our fellow actors and the show! This means not using vulgar humor directed at each other. You may know it’s just a joke but we are out in the public representing the village and Scarlett Rat so only nice and kind things! Really!

All parents dropping of your little Dickens stars please remember to use caution and drive slowly and be patient while approaching the green room! There are children about and often ice in the driveway! If you are staying and parking your car just relax and let the people dropping kids off finish that un-harried! You will have time to park. This is really important and I insist on curtesy and safety in the parking lot!

Don’t forget this Friday is Skaneateles Sings! It’s really fun and geared for giving the local residents a chance to come out and enjoy us while we help Dedicate the Creche and light the Tree in the gazebo! The event runs from 6:00 till 8:00pm so the call is 5:30pm. Our wonderful John Henry Anderson the Wonderful Wizard of the North will perform some magic at the Methodist church that night! If you can come play please do!

Next Saturday, Dec 7 Byron Lee and his family will open their beautiful home to us for Byron’s Chili Dinner featuring both regular and Vegetarian chili! MmmmMmm! I wouldn’t miss it! Byron’s mom Anne will send in info for us!
