Director Notes 12/14

Hi kids!
I can't believe we are entering our last weekend! This season has flown by and we still don't have snow. I'm not sure how I feel about that, but the driving has been great!

Everyone has been doing a great job! Keep your energy up and engage our guests! The whole idea is to look people in the eye and greet them! It is a powerful moment!

Saturday we will be helping a man surprise his wife for her birthday! After Leo announces the daily activities at the opening, he will hand a telegram to the Governor who will read it out loud. We will ask the Constables Long and Short to bring her up and lead the town in singing Happy Birthday.

Our cast pot luck is Sunday night! I bought the ham today and I'm so excited about it! Remember, you can drop off your dishes at the firehouse from 10:00am on. I want to thank Viv Lessaongang for her overseeing of the firehouse and Brian Goldblatt for co-ordinating! It's going to be a great time...

The Sherwood Inn has graciously invited us to a reception Christmas Eve after we finish our day! Please let me know if you are NOT going to be here for Christmas Eve. I understand if you can't, but it's a really fun day and coming to see us has become a strong element of Christmas tradition for lots of families! You should plan on being picked up at the Sherwood no later than 5:30. Our day ends at 3:00, so if you cannot stay for the reception get picked up at the green room at 3:15.

See you Saturday!
xoxo
