Director Notes 11/29

Thank you all 50 times for a great opening weekend! I hope you can appreciate just how awesome the Revels were today. What a crowd! When we are standing out there in the snow in a few weeks I will remind you to think back to today...

Remember make positive choices for your character interactions. Respect each other. If there is a good interaction going on and there are people watching it, don't jump in. Wait and listen until you know what action is taking place so you can make a positive offer to build on the bit.

Please keep your costume together and don't leave socks/gloves on the floor. When you arrive and change, hang your personal coat on your costume hanger. When you come in at 4:00, your hanger will still be there with your coat on it! Like Christmas magic! Use it properly and and hang your things neatly. I mean it.

Friday 12/04 is Skaneateles Sings! We call it Locals Night. Here is the schedule as I know it, but this may change a bit. The call is 5:45 and we meet in front of the Library at 6:15 to pass out and help light candles. I will introduce the speakers, we will light the creche, Mrs. Fillmore will lead us in a carol, we will carol with everyone down the street to the gazebo, we will count down and light the tree, speakers speak, girl scouts sing, then we will wander around till 8:00pm. Father Christmas will be at the Methodist Church, along with hot chocolate and a magic show by John Henry Anderson, the Wonderful Wizard of the North! It's a really fun night. Please come if you are able.

I am very proud of the work you are all doing!
See you Friday!
xoxo
Jim Greene
