Some of you are probably missing the tinny, empty sound of quietly rendered midi, droning your part rather soullessly through the speakers on your desktop/laptop/incredibly-high-tech-mobile-device. (Some of you wonder what I am talking about, but I digress.)
In place of the web-based system of at-home-caroling practice, I am going to provide you with caroling CDs.
How can one possibly get such a thing? Well, I'm glad I asked. It's easy!
Step 1: Tell Kelly you'd like a CD, and what voice part you sing.
Step 2: Hand over something of semi-equivalent value. Examples:
- a blank compact disc (most appropriate)
- a dollar (most convenient)
- a few homemade cookies (most delicious)
Magically, a CD will be provided for you in a timely fashion. Tracks 1-17 will feature the carols in glorious two, three, and four part harmony in the same order they appear in the caroling packet. Tracks 18-34 will feature those same tracks in the same useful order, but your part will be super loud, enabling you to easily learn it.
And that's the end of this song.
